On cougarboard, Harry Reid is seriously the devil. Few believe that he can be an active mormon and most think that he is a horrible person. Now, Mitt comes to the front and people are tripping overselves to hug and love him. Mitt comes with baggage (abortion among other things) but that board can't get enough of him...he is a wonderful guy, totally active in the church, heals the sick, gives 25% tithing, etc. With that said, I think Mitt is a good guy...but it is interesting to see how a political persuation leads to often very inaccurate portrayals of the individual.

I loved listening to KTKK. There isn't better entertainment on the radio. I was in Utah this past summer for a few weeks and I tuned into K-Talk. A lady called in upset because her Bishop encouraged the ward to vaccinate their children, but she is convinced that vaccinations are the sign of the beast.

But these are the people who're still pissed because polygamy was rescinded and the priesthood was extended to all worthy males. They're borderline fundamental apostates (even Bo Gritz has left the church).

Most of them hold Mitt Romney in the same esteem as Harry Reid.

I love Cougarboard, but heaven help us if it's an accurate sampling of LDS church members.

It's funny because your characterization of Mitt can be consistent with Obama and many of the young people right now who are jumping on his bandwagon.

Mitt has talent. If he wasn't Mormon, this election would be all locked up.
