Well, my Priest's quorum advisor took us all to see 3 Dog Night at a county fair back in '87. I think it's safe to say that their mere presence there proves they spent all of their money.

BTW, how has Ted Nugent's name not appeared on this list yet? I hate his stuff.

I love ELO. I love ABBA. And I don't care who knows it.

ELO music is horrid. I would rather poke a sharp stick in my eye.

3) Paul McCartney

This isn't rock. It's pop. Cheesy pop at that.

4) Styx

I used to be a Styx fan, but it just sounds odd now.

5) Supertramp

See item 4.

6) Rush

Hear me out, folks. Rush is a decent band but these stations only play 2-3 songs (Tom Sawyer, Spirit of Radio, Subdivisions) over and over and over again. Argh....
I have to disagree on 5 and 6, and some Styx is good. I also like some Paul McCartney, though he was far better as a Beatle.

Yes indeed. "Band on the run"? "Ebony and Ivory"? Those are some horrific songs, folks. I imagine John Lennon rolling in his grave each time one is played.

Ummm.... Yeah, sort of like ABBA.

Yeah, she was hot but I never liked the music much. And when they came out with "The Dog and the Butterfly", it was just too much for me.

And don't ever confuse looks with talent. Case in point: Shania Twain. She looks fantastic but her music is awful. Apparently, all you need in Nashville is a nice rack and a pretty face. The producers can fix up the rest.

Janis is the very essence of classic blues rock; listening to her whiskey besotted wails of emoiton is almost like breaking the WOW. 3 Bow-wow night, well, let's just say I hope they made a lot of money and it didn't all go up their cute little noses, beacseu their music scuked (except for a couple of Hoyt Axton penned songs).
Amen, brother. Janis Joplin was great. Three Dog Night was the musical equivalent of blue polyester jump suits and platform shoes ("What on earth were we thinking?").
