Ogden is truly one giant turd
I've been working up in that area for the last 2 weeks and will be there through the end of August. I'd been up to Ogden maybe once or twice in my life before that. South Ogden is actually kinda nice....but the rest of that shithole...wow....I'd always read the debates and heard people talk about how truly of a crapstain that place is.
It is all that and more. And that's being kind.

On this subject we agree.
What cracks me up is how defensive people from Ogden are about Ogden. The truth hurts. |

I go up there to do appraisals about twice a month, and honestly, I have never seen what I would call a "nice" neighborhood. The whole thing is just a run down disaster area.
We have a family cabin just over the mountain in Liberty, and it's the complete opposite. Some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable. When I ran in the Wasatch Back Relay last month, I realized how truly beautiful the back side of the mountain range really is. |

It does have some good Mexican food, though, and I think Weber State is a pretty nice campus. I'd take a job there in a New York minute.
