Default Rained out

So I changed into my cycling gear and headed out for my daily sufferfest up Big Cottonwood Canyon.
As soon as I left the building, it started raining and just kept getting worse.
So as I sit here mourning the loss of a day, I am wondering what everybody elses weather limitations are. How bad does the weather have to be for you to call off a ride? I would have happily gone out if it was just cold. I have ridden in major wind storms, lighning storms and off course 100+ degree heat.
But getting poured on as i head into a canyon sounded miserable today.
Also, what should I replace the ride with today? I am thinking about an hour long run this evening/

Noone seems to want to talk about cycling today.
But this made me happy on a gloomy day.

When I was checking climate data regarding the other thread. This is one thing I was genuinely surprised by: The gusts are crazy, but the rainfall for the month of April was negligible. In Lehi I think it was .4 for the entire month. We had four inches in one DAY. It rained non-stop for three weeks. I was really kind of envious when I saw how many clear days you guys have.

For you desert rats: rain is the stuff that makes steep mountain switchbacks slicker 'n cat snot. And high mountain passes very cold and miserable.
