Online Typing Test
Just so that I could quantify how pathetic of a typist that I really am, I found this online typing test.
http://www.typingtest.com/ My best was 46 WPM with 2 errors. My worst was 42 WPM with 5 errors. I had someone apply at my office recently that said she could type 150 wpm. I can't see how that is possible. So who is the CG typing king or queen? |

I keep getting phone calls interrupting me. Geeze, I didn't realize I was that slow. 53 wpm, no errors.

That's addictive. I keep getting 79 and I can't break into the 80's without making stupid mistakes.
Something fun: Set it to 2 minutes and try to finish the whole test. I'd have bet a thousand dollars that I could do it, but so far I can't get the last sentence finished. Also, my wpm drops from 79 to 76 on the 2 minute test. Last edited by SteelBlue; 04-04-2007 at 10:21 PM. |

62 words per minute, 2 errors. The first was because I forgot to capitalize the first word.
I could do better, I'm sure of it. And I suck at typing. |
