Who was more beautiful:
Grace Kelly or Greta Garbo?
Grace (scroll down and click on the Grace in Hollywood link): http://hem.passagen.se/byskogen/index.grace.html Greta: http://www.moviemarket.co.uk/Photos/...o_P200729.html Of course it's subjective, but I'm having a little disagreement with a colleague...

Not even close; Grace Kelly. Even in that somewhat odd photo of her with the specs she is striking.
Do you agree?

Yes. I think they both have that timeless, head-turning beauty, but Grace Kelly is possibly the most gorgeous woman to ever walk the earth (other than the Mrs., of course).

Absolutely. Dial "M," To Catch a Thief, and Rear Window. I've heard that her fatal car accident was very close to the picnic scene spot from To Catch a Thief, but I haven't confirmed it. Does anybody know?

Grace Kelly may go down as the all time screen beauty. She had class and dignity above all.
Your colleague must be blind and have no sense of taste. Grace epitomized grace and beauty; Greta was just a sex symbol which are many.

I think Greta was gorgeous, but there's several Hollywood actresses I'd put before her: Natalie Wood, Rita Hayworth, Ingrid Bergman, and Lauren Bacall for sure.

I do like Scarlett, and that's saying something because I have a strong preference for the actresses of years gone by. Most of today's actresses seem too hoochie and mindless. Hollywood has largely forgotten that intelligence, dignity, and talent contribute to attractiveness.
