Default As I reminisce about my long career as MikeWaters

on cougarboard since 2001...

The years of being a Crowton hater, saying that Whalen would never play in the NFL in the midst of Christina-love all over cb, tacking blacks and the priesthood numerous times, various debates over torture, war, and Bush, and of course many other controversial topics....

...it's a miracle that so FEW ignored me.

Its funny that you talking about how Whalen wont play in the NFL and the love fest with his mom, is similar to the battles that i have with Cheryl Brown and Other posters about Curtis. She comes on the board and posts about some obscure topic that has been posted 40 times that day and the responses are as follows and this never fails:

instead of the normal SGC, rip on that person we get this:

Lol
Oh my gosh
Curtis is great
You raised an awesome son
Thank you for bringing Curtis to us!!!!!!!1
GoCougarKris- I want to have sex with Curtis!!!
This is hilarious
You are the best poster!!!!!!!!!!!

I think its a joke and it annoys the crap out of me.

Or when Wendell Beck posts about John being hurt we rip on him, yet Cheryl has a long post about Curtis being unproductive due to injury and everyone says "what lack of production, Curtis is awesome!!!!!!"

I mean come on!

it was worse with Christina. Because Tai was like blood-brothers with Whalen.

I was the only one smart enough to know the truth and brave enough to say it.

I don't think Curtis has what it takes for the NFL, but after a couple of years on the practice team, a couple of years in Europe or Canada, who knows.

I'm not a good judge of running backs, because he appears to lack that little bit of speed needed for the pros, but here are a couple of advantages he has over Marcus,

He's kept his nose clean, has worked to improve his game and is a relatively complete back. He seems fairly durable and has a good attitude.

He's certainly no guarantee, but few are. It'd be nice if he got a shot.

He's a tweener. Not quite strong enough, not quite fast enough, not quite elusive enough, not quite powerful enough. But pretty good in all areas.

It's like the football Gods were playing Dungeons and Dragons and rolled 15s for all his attributes (18 is the highest for those nerds that don't know). It's nice to have an 18 somewhere.

I'm a nerd for not knowing Dungeons and Dragons? And you're a cool guy for knowing it?

Come on. It's a miracle CatBlue has fewer ignore me than Waters. That's the miracle.

Mrs. Brown can do and say anything she wants in my book. She gave us CB. I don't care if he goes to the NFL. He has been great for the Cougars, and made many a Ute Fan pee her panties over his every utterance.

She raised an awesome son!

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

Don't get cocky. Before I was banned, I had you beat. The worst it got was somewhere around 2003 when I called Crowton a liar, for umm lying. That got me banned for a week and a bunch of ignores I'm sure. It was about that time they came out with the genius rule that you could be banned for saying mean things about BYU or its coaches or players.

maybe it is Curtis' destiny to be head coach of BYU one day. That would drive Ute fans apopleptic!
