Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting recorded Savage claiming that Supreme Court Justices O'Conner and Ginsburg, and Senator Clinton have "feminized and homosexualized much of America, to the point where the nation has become passive, receptive, and masochistic."

According to a 2003 profile in the San Francisco Chronicle, Savage "once celebrated Yom Kippur a day early by playing tapes of Hitler's speeches to the accompaniment of German military music."

That same Chronicle profile quotes Savage as referring to San Francisco's homeless people as "living rats," Single career women over 40 as "human wreckage in high heels," Asians as "little soy eaters," Chinese people as "little devils," and Korean's as "dog-grillers."

After the 2000 election, Savage asked in his column, "Were the ballot machines homophobic because some weak-wristed types had insufficient strength to press hard enough to register a vote?"

On his now-cancelled MSNBC show, Savage referred to "third world" nations as "turd world."

On his now-cancelled MSNBC show Savage once said the following to a caller who admitted he was gay: "Oh, you're one of the sodomites! You should only get AIDS and die you pig! How's that? Why don't you see if you can sue me, you pig? You got nothing better than to put me down you piece of garbage? You got nothing to do today? Go eat a sausage and choke on it."

there is some speculation that he engaged in homosexual stuff. Go look on wikipedia. not so subtle letter written to allen ginsberg.

Hanging out in North Beach in the 1970s and going to the book stores and poetry readings with Allen Ginsberg and co. is certainly interesting in that regard.

I've noticed on a few occasions that some of the most strident anti-gay activists have been "outed."
