Essentially that would mean splitting revenue with all the MWC teams, plus another 12 C-USA teams.

One gets the feeling that BYU is *not* going to be independent, but will rather try to save face by eking out some kind of minimal, marginal concessions from the MWC. Like instead of 6 games on THE MTN, there will only be 5 games.

What purpose would this game serve?

BCS access? When has CUSA been in the BCS conversation in November? Why would the MWC need to strike a deal with CUSA to show that they deserve to be in the BCS?

MWC needs to have a game with the Big East champion and the winner gets the auto bid. That game would mean something.

it's just retarded talk from the morons who run this MWC show.

Hair Thompson has recently come out with statements saying this was talked about, but not seriously, because it would require special NCAA permission.

It makes as much sense as the Big East proposing that they share an auto-bid spot with MWC.

If I could pull the pin on the grenade inside the MWC I would.
