Is death a miracle?
Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore:
The night kissed the fading day With a whisper. "I am death, your mother. From me you will get new birth."

Some prominent Mormon leaders have believed in reincarnation, either under that name or under the notion of "successive mortal probations."

Someone recently wondered out loud whether death as well as birth might not be priesthood ordinances. I can't say this is not the case.

SIEQ I don't mean to sound cheeky, but I've always looked at a "miracle" as something that science cannot explain. Thus physical death is not a miracle, but the theories about spiritual matter living eternally most certainly would be.

Ditto. Since all mankind will be resurrected, death is the portal to one of the greatest miracles of all.

I don't findy your response cheeky at all. I haven't attempted a definition and am happy you are weighing in.

Science can explain birth, and I think birth is a miracle.

One day (perhaps not in this life) we will understand the science behind every miracle Christ performed. Will they then cease to be miracles?
