unbelievable.

these kids are going into permanent state custody under the judges out in Far West Texas.

It's guaranteed.

The judge is afraid of bucking public opinion, and the law be damned. She knows how her bread is buttered.

Children and criminals are not comparable, you dope exute. The state is much more intrusive into children's lives because they're children.

Considering that over 100,000 has been sent so far to determine if one female is related to Joseph Smith, I can't imagine how expensive and complicated it will be to determine lineage in kids where everyone is somewhat inbred. I think the genetic test, while very invasive and probably unconstitutional in this case, will also not be very helpful.

But we already knew that this judge is a moron. She thinks she can do custody hearing for all kids at once, instead of one at a time (also unconstitutional I would think).

More evidience why judges should be appointed and not elected.

Just as the photos of children being taken away in "1st Baptist Church" buses piqued the interest of lawyers in all directions, this order for genetic testing will likewise attract even more authors to relate a story too bizarre for fiction. (I can promise you more than a few geneticists would desperately like to get their hands on the test data, as well.)

Jon Krakauer is likely typing as you read this, and you have to know one chapter will be on the YouTube iteration of the re-denial of relation or involvement broadcast from SLC. One bizarre sidebar is the role Mark Shurtleff played in advising Texas legislators in the makeover of their minimum age laws.

Mormon betraying "Mormon", emphatic disavowal, teenage brides in fashion from long ago... it is one big hairball for the modern LDS church. Good thing - for Mormons & the GOP - that Mitt is out of the race.

If you thought it was bad in December...

Default Arguing with the facts? Criminals are granted more rights.

of ...... what?

So all babies born with fetal alchohol syndrome (DNA test kids for potential violent lives) should be taken the state.

The vast majority of the mothers and kids (I dare say 90%) have done NOTHING wrong!

But you're ok with the state taking custody of the entire lot?

You didn't answer my question so maybe it wasn't clear. You said criminals have more rights than these children. When you said that, which rights did you have in mind? Which rights of the children are you saying have been violated?
