Question for the Dems on the board...
Any thoughts about the Nevada judge that said the Dems have to include Kucinich in the Nevada debate?
I'd be kind of pissed. MSNBC, being a private company, can invite whomever it wants to it's debate, but Kucninch sues and a judge agrees and wants to force MSNBC to invite someone it doesn't want? It seems that Kucinich refuses to accept that he isn't wanted.

Are you talking about Kucinich or George W Bush?

Al Gore is the one who wouldn't let the issue die in Florida, but you digress.
So, how do you feel about it?

I think the media has a responsibility to avoid making news. When Fox decided to keep Ron Paul out of their debate, they made a subjective judgment that he didn't have a chance, while including other candidates who had less of a chance than he does.
Kucinich has been getting 1% to Paul's 10%, so MSNBC's exclusion was more justifiable, but I still don't like the media being able to decide who the major candidates are. |

So, MSNBC at first invited him, then decided it didn't want him there. Too bad for Kucinich. That judge sounds like a prick. Archaea - know anything about him?

He was back in the mix for the Fox debate last Thursday, unfortunately.

Even if it breaches a contract it made with Kucinich? Don't you believe in corporations and individuals being held to their contracts?

He's a senior judge, but a good legal mind. I would not view him as prick.
