Bood Simple
I haven't had a chance to see No Country for Old Men. I'm hoping for the matinee tomorrow. I did watch Blood Simple again recently, the Coen brothers' first film, which I had not seen for many moons. The film has held up flawlessly over time. I continue to believe it's the Coens' best, but again, I have not seen No Country. I think the old hired gun is critical to success of the movie, and I love the end. It's hard to remember now how inovative this movie was at the time it came out. It revived the old film noir genre. It's one of the best films ever.
