opinions on uhaul trailer hitches?
I need a trailer hitch installed for my truck. Thinking about going down to Uhaul. Any opinions?
Also, what do you think of square vs. round? Apparently the round is for aesthetic reasons? |

I gather you mean the hitch receiver? Most hitches, bike racks, etc., are square so nit sure if round is a good idea. I would gvuess the receivers are pretty similar. Do they actually install it or do they subcontrqact it? Find out who is installing it and make sure they are reputable and have been in biz for a while. What do you need it for?

Go to Joe's Hitch and Trailer. There are several locations around town but I think the one right off of I-30 is closest to you. They do a good job and that is their main business.
Here they are: http://dallas.citysearch.com/profile...h_trailer.html |

I had a square trailer hitch from U-Haul. It was fine. Square hitches look tougher than round.

well, I found out that the Joe's Trailer Hitch is twice the price of the Uhaul hitch.
That's a pretty big difference. |
