Mike: I don't think you should vote if you don't want to. Flash takes a similarly utilitarian view and never votes in the prez races. Says there's no point in a state where the politics are redder than our football team.
Republicans seem to like Obama.

So DID you vote, Mike? Have you answered that elsewhere?

I had asked him who he thought he would vote for, and he said Romney. "So you want to make a meaningless vote for a guy who has given up his delegates, and you are telling me it is important for me to vote?"

So eventually he decided he would vote for McCain, in order to not be meaningless.

If I vote in the GOP primary, I would vote for McCain.

If I vote in the dem primary, I would probably vote for Obama, because I don't like the Clintons. But the idea of voting in the dem primary to "throw" the election doesn't appeal to me much.

I still haven't decided if I'm going to vote.
I vote so that I can have a right to complain. Or at least it puts me on a higher moral plane when I complain.

I didn't vote yesterday. Mainly due to our self-imposed quarantine. But also because I figured there was no point in voting in the Republican primary since McCain has it locked up. And I never thought I'd say this because I detest the Clintons, but I can't decide which Dem scares me the most. Hillary because she is Hillary and I don't trust the Clintons with ANYTHING. Obama due to his hard left socialist policies, inexperience, and lack of a real plan.
