reminds me of the training psychoanalyst who had a patient that was having some financial difficulties.

"well pay whatever you think you can afford."

So the patient thinks about it comes back and says he can't afford to pay anything. Analyst says ok. He needs the patient to complete training.

Gradually analyst realizes that he is getting annoyed when the patient arrives by taxi and talks about eating out.....as they meet 4 times /week.

Are you thinking of orthotics and prosthetics? Anyway, I just found the word in an online "dictionary of difficult words". It means "correct action". Used in religious discussion to show an emphasis on action versus belief.
You've got the gist of it. What I'm trying to get across with my signature is that while my beliefs vary substantially from the LDS mainstream, my actions are right in line.
