#46: Conflating Steven Covey’s ideas that he “borrowed” from Dale Carnegie with the Restored Gospel.

#47: Mistaking Robinson's bicycle story for profundity.

#48: Teaching the preposterous and patently false notion that “barley for mild drinks” from D&C 89: 17 refers exclusively to Postum.

That would be numbers 46 through 48 this year, correct? Because my master list is nearing four digits by now.

What is it with your wards? I never hear this kind of crap in my wards. Methinks some seek to find stuff to gripe about.

Hey Indy, here's a thought: whenever someone has a church related gripe, instead of chiming in each and every single time that you don't know what they are talking about with a frequency and regularity that is the envy of the metamucil drinking world, why not just stay quiet and we will all just assume that you don't?

That's a very pleasant way to tell someone to shut up.

Well, "orthopraxy" is the practice of treating medical deformities with some sort of mechanical device.

It doesn't help me much to make the connection, but it may be a start.

Are you thinking of orthotics and prosthetics? Anyway, I just found the word in an online "dictionary of difficult words". It means "correct action". Used in religious discussion to show an emphasis on action versus belief.

Remember the oft quoted story from "Believing Christ" where the little girl wants to buy the bicycle in the front store window but doesn't have enough $$$. Dad says "If you will save all your money for (however) long, then I will make up the difference and pay the rest".
