BYU's policy on tattoos
I understand that you can be admitted to BYU with tattoos, but that if you get a NEW tattoo while enrolled at BYU, this is an honor-code violation that can lead to sanction and punishment.
I think it's kind of weird that someone could kicked out of school for getting a tattoo. I wonder if it has reached that level. I'm trying to think what other kinds of punishment can they hand out, short of kicking a student out, or threatening to kick someone out (probation). I HATE tattoos, I think they look terrible. But still strikes me as weird. |
