BYU's policy on tattoos
 
I understand that you can be admitted to BYU with tattoos, but that if you get a NEW tattoo while enrolled at BYU, this is an honor-code violation that can lead to sanction and punishment.

I think it's kind of weird that someone could kicked out of school for getting a tattoo. I wonder if it has reached that level. I'm trying to think what other kinds of punishment can they hand out, short of kicking a student out, or threatening to kick someone out (probation).

I HATE tattoos, I think they look terrible. But still strikes me as weird.

I don't think you are right Mike. Araujo got some new ones.

Well, if someone wanted to take the time, my guess is they could look it up on the form the students have to sign agreeing to the honor code.
