woot, define "enlightened" as it relates to social issues.

As I posted, I'm against it for reasons of higher taxes. I don't give a damn about the homosexual agenda or the plight of homosexuals - not because I hate them or think they're sinful, but because my job is to ensure that my family is ok. If I'm not enlightened, than so be it. But I don't do anything to gain approval from another.

I don't really have any interest in debating with you the merits of gay arguments for legitimacy. I simply wanted to demonstrate the difference between what Huckabee/Santorum said, and what's being reported that they said. You've done a poor job of advocating the position that they equated the two.
