And when they find there is no true DNA link, will your 'testimony' of evolution be shaken ... or will you simply move on and call it refinement?

She is NOT the only member of her species that they have identified. You underestimate the volume and quality of evidence.

And you're the guy telling me I don't live in reality. No wonder your other stories always sound so fanciful.

Isn't that the crux of the problem ... a lack of volume and quantity? Surely if science had such overwhelming evidence Lucy would truly be the Holy Grail of all that is intellectual?

Why do you have a problem with evolution, yet you have no problem with Book of Mormon claims about elephants, horses, and Jews in America, even though there is ZERO evidence to support these claims? The evidence for evolution is overwhelming, while the evidence for claims associated with the birth of Mormonism is essentially zilch. Can you see the inconsistency here?
I'm not suggesting that you drop Mormonism. I'm saying that if you can embrace Mormonism despite a lack of evidence, then you certainly ought to be able to embrace evolution, given the overwhelming evidence. Last edited by SoonerCoug; 10-06-2007 at 10:27 PM. |
