Remember when Letterman used to wear those wrestling shoes with his suit? He was funny back then, now he's seriously annoying, like SU says, always repeating some unfunny punch line or catch phrase 100 times throughout a show. Now Paul, he's a funny guy. I liked the "she is a good looking babe" comment.

I don't think I've watched Letterman or Leno in years. For some reason they weren't that interesting anymore. I guess I'm getting old.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

I like that McCain swapped Letterman with Katie Couric. Isn't that what we'd want from a pol? A substantive interview (sure it's Katie Couric, but you get my point) over a smartass exchange with Letterman. It's not like McCain is afraid of Dave.

It's not an interview. It's damage control. But I suppose you're right. At least we're past the days of playing saxophone on Arsenio.

I'm not so sure.

I didn't realize they were mutually exclusive.

Awesome that they used Rick Astley for that soundtrack. By far the best bad dancer of the 80s. Tiffany doesn't even come close.

I would argue but I'm too busy rocking out the timeless tunes of Rick Astley.
