do you have homeless in Wyoming?

I never saw any homeless growing up. So it was kind of a culture shock to me.

Yes. But I was speaking more of my former life as a big city sophisticate. I'll have you know I spent ten years in Denver.

Except in small towns (when I was young), there have always been homeless where I live.

From what little I understand many if not most are homeless due to mental health issues, or substance abuse issues or both. I may be mistaken though.

And I've not done much other than an occasional handout.

Yeah, there's a guy who lives by an interstate on-ramp in town here. He calls himself Moon Man or Space Man or something. I'm pretty sure he's got some issues.

You want homeless? Come to SF. They're everyhwere. Some obviously crazy, some obviously addicted, some likely both, and still others making a choice. Either way they are all over the place. Maybe this explains why Norcal is always so sour?

Redding only has 100,000 people but we have homeless galore. I attribute it to the nice weather. Why all homeless people don't live in San Diego is beyond me.
