Default Recap of RATPOD

RATPOD is Ride Around the Pioneers in One Day. The Pioneers are a mountain range just outside of Dillon, Mt. The first thirty miles involves a medium sized climb and decent across cattle country. At the thirty mile mark you turn and head into the mountains. After eight miles along the foothills you start a pretty serious 5 mile climb. After you hit the top the next twenty seven miles was as good as cycling gets. Slight decline, mountains on both sides, beautiful mountain streams, valleys full of wild flowers, smooth road and no traffic. It really was one of those stretches of road that would make anyone fall in love with cycling. The last 55 miles is a mix of highway along the river and more range land so it wasn't as nice but overall it is a wonderful ride.

My legs felt good throughout the ride so I feel a little bit better about ULCER now.
