Default Belief Statement

I know several people who've written what they call a belief statement.

Some call it their testimony on paper, or a "why I believe" statement.

I'm curious if you've done this. I've never written down in a statement in my own words why I believe the way I do...unless you count journal entries on my mission.

You don't have to share your statements here, but just curiously if you've ever felt the desire or need to write one, whether it be for yourself, family or posterity.

While I can understand why some might find value in doing this, I find this personally to be a waste of time. The proof is in the pudding.
