canari shorts...
anybody familiar with them? He got an 8 panel short for $50... the padding almost feels fleece... he's just got a bike... all 105 I think. Anyway, I told him I'd ask the cycling experts what they knew about the canari short or if he should just get some nice pearl izumi's...

The advice that I was given, and that now I subscribe to is: "buy the best shorts you can afford. It will pay off and you'll be much happier".

I've got a pair of 8 panel Canari shorts and I love them. The only problem most people report is that the stitching often comes out on the chamois, which is exactly what happened with mine. They still work just fine and are one of the more comfortable pairs of shorts that I own. $50 sounds like a bit much though. |
