Are you talking about prospective missionaries or us Ute fans?

We're so used to looking down at you folks that I forgot you've long been in that position

Tobias: No, it never does. I mean, these people somehow delude themselves into thinking it might, but...but it might work for us.

I've heard that the view from atop the Rameumptom is different than from the pit of hell. Any truth to it?

My cousin was just called to the Tokyo South mission, he leaves in July. Any idea if it is still the world leader in baptisms?

If you have people skills you will baptize more people. Whether someone is a "problem" elder or not, seems to be completely irrelevant.
I disagree with this. I had some obedience issues my first 10 months or so of my mission. When I decided to dedicate myself to trying to live every rule, my success, as defined by numbers of baptisms, went up significantly.

The best elders in my mission, as judged by the criteria of #s of baptisms, were the ones with great salesmanship skills who also genuinely believed in what they were doing and sought to both work hard and live every rule to the best of their ability. I will not discount charm and other salesmanship skills, which also often led to opportunities to sin with da ladies, but in my experience the most successful elders had 3 components: skills, work ethic and the convincing spiritual power afforded those that are obedient.

They also got to marry ladyfolk with very large God given ta-tas....Oh the humanity!

The operative word as "God-given". If Tebow's girlfriend's knockers are God-given then I truly am Cary Grant.

I'm thinking some divinely inspired plastic surgeon finished the deal for Sister Tebow. Perhaps the light bulb around the good sister's neck who ensured we all made it to our appointed spots from the pre-existence shorted out and she sent Sister Tebow down a wee bit early.
