Default Pictures from Friday's storm

These photos pretty much suck because a) it was dark and b) I'm no MikeWaters.

But this was the storm that had a tornado that touched down near my house.

One reason I'd never live in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas or any other tornado prone area. I'll take an earthquake any day of the week over a tornado.

Texas is not "tornado prone" and is not part of Tornado alley.

Tornadoes run from Texas.

It certainly has more than Utah. I don't like the humidity or hail either.

Dallas is dry. Hail is infrequent. And Texans just throw it back Wrigley-style.

I have visited Texas a couple of times and have been thankful that I don't live there. Houston was too humid and Lubbock was to desolate. I've only driven through Dallas so I couldn't tell you much about it except the traffic was about the same as California.

Lubbock: where you can be up to your nose in mud and still have dust blowing in your eyes.

That is not true. Texas is in tornado alley according to every tornado book I have ever checked out from the library which is about million. But perhaps Gerdy could settle our debate.

Hm, Marsupial's map would tend to disagree with you.
