abstinence ed failure
So the study shows that the move toward abstinence ed has been ineffective, with no discernible difference between the subsequent sexual behavior of those who have and haven't had the abstinence aspect of sex education.
What really concerns me about this article is that it states the average age of first intercourse is now 14.5. Holy cow. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6554743.stm |

I didn't know it was so late, as I would have guessed earlier. That was an interesting article.
Generally, unless kids have a great moral reason to abstain, they won't.

"Abstinence Only Program" and "No-Sex Before Marriage Education" are boring titles for these programs. I understand "Head Start" is already taken, but they have to think of something better.

We all know that you can't use science to tell if one thing is better than another.
Hence I dismiss the study out of hand. |

Earth to Mike, is Rocky typying via your keyboard, or is this less than subtle sarcasm, of which Rocky is incapable.
