Agreed. I just don't know if FARMS could pull it off, since it will always (for better or worse) be associated with BYU. What we need is an LDS scholar at a non-church school who has academic freedom. I miss Dean May.

If you do, I don't fault you for not following. OTH, when I acquiesce for a period, usually things work out or I see another path.

Intellectually, I can see different paths, and I agree our leaders err from time to time, but I don't purposefully oppose them, just voice quietly my disagreement, if asked or in a forum amongst friends or here.
