That reminds me of a story my dad tells about his days as a a BYU student. He was taking an Eastern religion and philosophy class, and the final oral exam was a big part of his grade. He studied all night, and when in the next morning with his books (students were allowed to bring books in to defend their answers). The professor sat across from him and asked the final exam question: What is Zen? My dad said he didn't think at all. He let his mind go blank and then held out his arms and dropped his books at the feet of his professor. The prof. smiled and said, "A".
