The only thing that bothers me about this season...
is that the Utes didn't play this well the entire season.
In any event, I'm pleased that the Utes finished the year with a winning record and a bowl win over Ga Tech. It would seem that there is a QB controversy up on the hill......

IPU....
I love ya bro, but there is absolutely ZERO QB controversy on the hill.... BJ redshirts because of his knee. If I was KW that is what I would do. There is no way you can place whats his face on the bench after what he did. It is the whole Tom Brady thing.....

Ratliffe was looking like A Smith. How do we explain a game like this? GT looked like a bunch a fools. Is it that they thought all they had to do was show up? Were they that unprepared? Or is Utah that much better? Or that much better last night? Our pathetic D suddenly had company in its pathetic-ness. On offense, I couldn't understand why GT threw so much. Ball had absoluetly no touch. I realize field conditions didn't help, but it seemed like they could get to the corners with their RBs pretty easily. Even when GT was down by 20 in the second quarter, I couldn't understand why they didn't push the running game more. Anyway, good game by the Utes.

Tech just acted like they didn't want to be there.
Even the Ute announcers kept saying that the whole game. So, I would suppose that you should expect to get your ass handed to you when you do that.

myboynoah is correct that Tommy Grady, the transfer from Oklahoma is there as well. Some of the folks that I know who have connections to Utah football have said that Grady is a bit more elusive than Ratliff - despite being 6'7" and about 240 or so - and has a cannon of an arm. Ratliff has shown that he can play, no doubt about it. The guy came out and imporved on his performance against BYU - something I didn't think he could do. He certainly has as much claim on the starting spot as either of the other two. I think it is a controversy, but I won't complain. It's a nice problem to have.
