I'll definitely take the Radiohead version. For some reason, I love covers and I usually give them deference over the original.
Speaking of Radiohead and covers...here's a good one. Radiohead v. The Darkness. Radiohead-- Street Spirit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hz_Fe...elated&search= The Darkness' version-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJpn1QKCOvA |

IMO RH's cover is pretty good but Carly is always the first choice for that song.

I'm assuming that it's her song from whichever Bond movie that used it, based on the title of the thread, so I'd agree that Carly's version is better. I haven't heard Radiohead's version and won't be able to until stupid youtube is done with their stupid maintenance.

Ick. I don't like that song. At all. By either artist.
I can't stand Carly Simon. She did all the music in the most recent Winnie the Pooh film. Ruined the movie for me. I almost dragged my six-year-old out of the theater on principle. (I firmly believe we should train up a child in the way he should go, especially when the way involves musical discernment.) |
