Anybody know of any local small money poker...
games in the Salt Lake/Ogden area?
I'm talking $100 buy-ins with around 15-20 players. Anybody in this area interested in poker? Have friends who would like to start a monthly game? |

I'd love to gamble in a poker game, but only if they don't use face cards. That's against my religion.

I used to play all the time, but my "so called" god informed my "so called" prophet through something called "revelation" that is was bad. So i no longer do it.
Honestly i would probably still play but i feel bad taking money from kids. We used to play weekly and kept tournament stats and even gave out gold bracelets. I never finished out of the top 3 and won 7 of 10 tournaments.

Anyone else have those prophet cards when they were kids? They were supposedly meant to teach us who the prophets were and some of the things they did. The convenient thing was that there were 4 sets of each prophet. And each set had this cool little picture to differentiate it from the other 3 sets. You know an angel Moroni, gold plates etc...

God has placed a curse on me. I'm doomed to lose every bet I ever make.
I wised up and stopped betting. |
