Default Obama's public health insurance

In a written statement Thursday, she said the AMA “opposes any public plan that forces physicians to participate, expands the fiscally challenged Medicare program or pays Medicare rates.”
No psychiatrist that does solely outpatient work is a medicare provider, if they can help it.

Doesn't pay enough. And that goes for all specialties that can get away with it.

Now, if you see inpatients, you will probably be forced to be a medicare provider.

So you end up with a situation where people get coverage with medicaid or medicare, but can't find doctors to treat them. And why? Because the reimbursement doesn't keep the lights on.
