Has it occured to anyone that we're allowing Israel to destroy the economic infrastructure of a Christian demcoracy that has condemned Hezbollah?

Just watched Pat Buchanan and Mort Zuckerman on Scarborough country. When Zuck was defending Israel's action's he said, "We even distributed leaflets telling civilians to leave before striking."

Buchanan responded, "Who's we?" Forced Zuck had to retreat a bit when Pat called into question his allegiance.

Granted, I think the amount of support we give Israel is pretty proportional to the financial clout Jews wield in this country. The the Christian Coalition is abetting their cause, out of their, what I think perverted interpretation of scripture that it's America's duty to defend Israel at whatever cost.

Where's that in the inspired Constitution?

On the contrary, I think they DO realize this... and they laugh all the way to the bank as they cash our support checks, launch our missiles and fly our aircraft.

If you were a company that sold a particular widget, and some freaky cult decided to premium to use your widget as part of their religion, would you complain?
