Maybe you've already discussed this but how did USC get rated ahead of Penn State? USC is 1-1 against common opponents and PSU is 2-0.

Boise ahead of Texas Tech? I'm thinking cj's post above might be pretty accurate.

On USC/Penn State: my model's saying that USC's schedule has been much tougher, roughly equivalent to one loss. They're virtually tied at #2 with USC ahead by about .1%.

On Boise/TT: Also virtually tied. Boise's SOS is rated a little higher, and TT's MOV impact doesn't quite make up for it.

Hey, against the predictions of all prognisticators here, they pulled out a tough one against SJSU. That's gotta count for something.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.
