I see. In that case, contrast that for me to how we're treated in the Gospel Doctrine equivalent class in your run-of-the-mill Christian denomination.

For the most part, the instructors try and many do a decent job. But sometimes comments from the class are eye opening to say the least.

We do not claim (at least officially) to have a corner on all the truths that exist.
There is much to be had in looking at how other denominations and other religions look at the human experience.
Everyone has the Light of Christ. And all who pay attention to the light have interesting insights.
