Default I think McCain has checked Obama

Obama responds with "I told Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed to call me if they need me." The imagery of Obama leaving things to Pelosi and Reed should scare the bejesus out of everyone.

This will be interesting to watch.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.

It was a brilliant move. If Obama goes to Washington, he is following McCain's lead. If he doesn't and insists on the debate, he is not putting campaigning above the current crisis.

Not sure the avg. citizen is smart enough to figure that out. They just want something for nothing.

Now here's a fun, narcissistic little photo.

Nothing like having a stack of Rolling Stones with your mug on it to make you smile.

One thing this move by McCain ensures is that he wouldn't be reading My Pet Goat while the twin towers smolder or singing karaoke while New Orleans drowns.

So Obama shows up in Washington. His king is on the run.

He looked out of sorts at that meeting. Like the kid at the adults table.

EDIT: My comment has nothing to do with the color his skin, race-baiters.
