Default What if Obama met with Jed Bartlet on West Wing...

I just saw this, and I regret if it's old stuff, but it's a conversation between Obama and Jed Bartlet, the President played by Martin Sheen on The West Wing. I disagreed with some of the show's politics, but I liked the writing, and this interview is a good example. It's especially funny as you imagine Martin Sheen speaking the lines. If you liked The West Wing, you'll like the article; you won't if you didn't. I apologize to those of my friends who dislike Sheen intensely...

Nice sample:

BARTLET I wouldn’t go that far. Brains made me look arrogant but they make you look uppity. Plus, if you had a black daughter —

OBAMA I have two.

BARTLET — who was 17 and pregnant and unmarried and the father was a teenager hoping to launch a rap career with “Thug Life” inked across his chest, you’d come in fifth behind Bob Barr, Ralph Nader and a ficus.
