Is adult soccer like an adult bookstore?

I'm looking forward to joining the over 30 team next year.
I played this year for the first time and really enjoy the sport even more.

I have had a hard time finding adult leagues that play on any day other than Sunday.
Apparently some people have these things called "children." It must be quite awful because they occupy all six other days of the week and Saturdays can be the worst of all. I need to avoid this children thing. Is it like pinkeye? If I wash my hands after touching a child will I be ok?
