Default Football sprinters

I can remember when in HS track (although technically a high jumper, I trained with the sprinters) during track practice a couple of football players were out there timing one of them in the 40 (on the asphalt track, not the grass, btw).

I can remember laughing at what a dork he looked like trying to sprint - his form was horrible.

We had some of the football team RB's on the team, and they knew how to sprint, but I guess this guy was a linebacker or something like that.

I don't know why I bring this up now - it just came to mind. Maybe just to let some of you football guys know we used to laugh at you.

And I'm not worried about payback - we can outrun you, easily.

If sufficiently frightened, yes.

Hey, even having added about 30 pounds since my college days, I can still come pretty close to the basketball rim. I've still got a little bit left in my legs.

That will help you if you need to jump over your assailants, but to run away?
