Default Inside LB, how do we turn this into a strength?

It is no secret that we lack size and depth at this crucial position. Size is key to stopping the run, which makes our game against UW that much tough with Locker. All I know is that we have 2 good OLBers, an athletic secondary and a large and deep dline, There has to be a way to disguise our weakness at OLB.

Speed is more important in containing running QBs though, and we're faster than last year. And last year, we were faster than the year before.

That reminds me of the 2005 Texas and 2004 Auburn teams under DC Gene Chizik. He liked smaller faster players to the bigger slower ones. With that said, power beats speed every time.

I just hope that they move Hartung to NT to help Tialavea with stopping the up the middle runs. Will 10-15 lbs make a huge difference?
