If you were on Deal or No Deal...
and you made it down to the final two cases with the remaining unrevealed values being $1,000,000 and $25, how low would the bank's offer have to be for you to say "No deal" and gamble that your case has the $1,000,000?
That scenario played out last week, and the bank's final offer was $380,000 (which surprised me b/c I thought they would have offered ~$500K, must have been trying to bait her). Of course she took the $380K, but if you were in her shoes and the bank offered say $100K rather than $380K, would $100K be high enough to keep you from going for the million? (Remember $100K means roughly $60K net). |

You should explain the show for those of us that 1) have never seen the show, but 2) intensely care about your question.

I would love to talk junk to the banker and slam down the no deal lever.

The phone they use on that show reminds me of the first phone I had when I was finally able to have my own room.
It was a white ConAir phone that we bought at Thrifty Drug & Discount Store. You hung it up by laying it down on the desk or table or whatever. I think it cost $10.
