Default Brandon Bradley

Man O Man, I have been waiting since 2006 to see this guy play. So what's the latest on this guy? Why in the hell does is Scott Johnson taking reps from him?

Many people are hyping up G Pittman, but I think that Bradley could be something special at CB. As in NFL material special. His knee should be 100%by now and there is no reason to think that he shouldn't be the starter at his position.

The reason why Scott Johnson is with the ones right now is because Hill and Bronco are all about position mastery. Bradley is much more talented but has to earn the spot just like Pittman has to earn his spot and Johnson and Howard are going to fight like hell to keep it.

The thing that I don't understand is that Bradley has had 2 years to learn the system and I only remember Johnson being with the team since this past season. How has he mastered the position more than Bradley who has atleast 1 year on him?(I know Johnson is a Jr).

I just hope that the coaches give Bradley a fair shake to earn the starting spot by the start of the season. I feel more secure with him at CB.

I wouldn't necessarily say that Bradley has 2 years in. You got to remember that he had a pretty bad knee injury which took him about a year and a 1/2 to get back to where he was. That said, Bronco and Jaime ask for their players to know their roles and master their positions. Even though Bradley might be more physically gifted than Johnson if he is cannot read the play right or not react quick enough than he will not move up.

My guess is that the coaching staff wants their players to fight for the job and not hand anything to anyone. By the time the first game rolls around, I would say that both Brandons will be starting in the secondary with G getting a ton of PT.

I certainly hope so.

You're pretty high on this Bradley kid. What part of Texas is he from?

He is from Florida. But between geographic ignorance and basic Texansized ego inflation, most Texans figure Florida is just another county.

After all they share the same Governor, you know.

For the record from what I have seen from the defensive coaches I am in way uncomfortable if it is announced that the defensive backfield at the BYU consists of PAC, BYU71, Creekster and madAmImAdam. Elder Mendenhall has been a miracle worker and I have total confidence that all things will be executing on a higher level no matter what his "talent" level back there is.

I've heard that PAC has lost a step, but 71 has what the kids say "mad skillz" when it comes to coverage.

As for the kid being from Florida, I had no idea. I was just mocking Texan and his belief that all things Texas are better just because. After all, if he thinks Reed is as good as Collie, why else would he be waiting since 2006 to see Bradley play?

I think there was some talk about the possibility, but he's been practicing at CB
