Default What kind of wishful thinking is this?

Embedded in this article about Josh Romney's potential candidacy is this line:

Quote:
Of course, there's always the possibility that Mitt Romney may end up on the ballot as a vice presidential candidate — or even, some suggest, the party's nominee if the campaign of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., continues to falter.
What, if McCain has a heart attack? What in the world are they talking about? Are these just people who can't come to terms with a McCain nomination? Is there some obscure party rule I'm not aware of that allows a challenger to overturn all the country's primaries?

Memo to Utahns: Romney is not going to be the Republican nominee.
