I'm envious of your snow in Utah
We keep getting storm after storm after storm, all rain. At least you can do something fun with snow. Rain just sucks. Oh, and by the way another storm today heavy with rain and low snow levels and, of course, headed your way.

I disagree, snow makes things way more interesting, unless your building an arc.

When rain leaves, you are usually left with moderate temps and no aftermath. When a snowstorm leaves, your ass is out shoveling, and the snow sits there for weeks on end. You also are generally freezing your balls off after the cloud cover leaves.
I will take rain. Last edited by Coach McGuirk; 02-03-2008 at 07:23 AM. |

OK, I'll admit I was wrong on this one. It's now 70 degrees here in Redding and not a cloud in the sky.

Actually been relatively warm here in the 'burg lately. The snow and ice are melted off the roads in most places.
I'd hope for an early spring, but I know better than that. |

I moved from Utah to Texas 12.5 years ago and I don't miss the snow one bit. I still remember waking up in the morning and going outside to drive to student teaching only to find my car and every other one parked on the street totaly covered in snow. I couldn't always remember exactly where I parked so I had to go car to car rubbing the snow off the car hoods until I recognized the color of my car. I didn't always have gloves, either. And then it was slip-n-slide until I got on the main roads which may or may not have been slippery that day, depending on the section. Some white-knuckle moments there.
There was also freezing my tail(and my feet) as I hoofed it to campus. There are some things that I miss about Utah but the snow isn't one of them.
