Silly me, relying on economists for advice in such matters.

And clearly the liquor industry will be stimulated. After all, all poor people are fat, lazy drunks who run to the liquor store the second they find a dollar on the ground.

So you hate poor people in addition to gay people. Anybody else you'd like to come out against?

Is this article correct?

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sh...-being-advance

This stimulus package isn't actually adding to the deficit because they're actually just advances on our tax refunds? I'm not sure if we'll get one or not, but it sounds like it doesn't matter anyway if this is correct.

No, that is not the case.

http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080207/economy_stimulus.html

It will add $168 billion to the deficit.

Yeah, because I want to know who is actually making over 150K per year as the sole income earner.

It doesn't bug me that others are going to get rebates.

However, I just did an estimate of my 2007 taxes. I am going to have to come up with another $14,000. I am pissed about that and will be going back and make sure I have accounted for all my business expenses.

My credit card does show a 18 ticket buy for the Vegas Bowl. I am trying to remember if I gave those away as gifts.
