Burning Bright is on a distinguished road
Default Is this a miracle or just a spiritual experience?

So a few minutes ago I'm sitting at my computer thinking about going to bed. On my desk was a glass with ice in it but no refreshing beverage. There had been Dr. Pepper in it (decafeinated, of course) but I had drank (drunk?) it all. I have more Dr. Pepper in my pantry but I'm not in my pantry and anyways, I really didn't feel like a whole can so I decided I would just drink some water.

So I picked up the can to throw it away but to my suprise, it was half full, of DR PEPPER!!!

I must have absentmindedly forgot that I still had some. You know how you pour soda and it fizzes up and you have to wait to pour the rest? That must have happened. So as I type now, I am enjoying a cold, refreshing, frothy beverage. See, waitasecond......mmmmm, refreshing.

I just wanted to share this experience with the board. Miracles can and do happen. Or am I being to enthusiastic? Is this really not a miracle but rather simply a spiritual experience? I dunno.

Second question, tomorrow is Fast Sunday. If I share this testimony of the Miracle of the Dr. Pepper, do you think it'll edify the ward or will it just look like I'm bragging because I have so many cool spiritual experiences.

You know, this might be too sacred to share. And if I did share it, they might want to make me Bishop or something so I think I'll just write it in my journal so one day when I'm dead everyone will realize how cool I was. Yeah, that's what I'll do.

I might have considered it a miracle had the Dr. Pepper been caffeinated.

I consider it a miracle that somebody finds Dr. Pepper refreshing.

If you decide to share that with your fellow ward members, be sure to do it near the end of the meeting.

If you do it too early, you give more people a chance to share their testimonies. If you wait until there is about 10 minutes or so, you can end the meeting sooner, as it will cause the Spirit to leave and whichever member of the Bishopric is conducting will jump up and end the meeting, because there won't be time to save it.
