I'm doing a similar ride the following weekend up at Lake Tahoe.

Ours is a ride/race around the lake totalling about 72 miles. My cycling fitness is fading, so it will be more of a ride for me. My buddy has not decided yet if he is going to hammer and try and stay with the pack or not.

Great time of year up there.

Come to HHH in Texas. With 10,000 riders on a completely flat course, it is difficult to not be in a pack.
